In this second story, Cleo faces a thief that is stealing the sword that she found so hard to get in the first book. She also learns more about how her time travel occurred and worries about the role everyone things she should fulfill based on the prophecy. Will Cleo ever accept her new home and new friends?
I think this story just keeps getting more intriguing and fleshed out. The author is doing a great job with building the characters and world while balancing it with action. I wholeheartedly recommend it for upper elementary, maybe it will even interest some students in the real Cleopatra and Egyptian history along the way. The artwork is bright, varied, and dynamic.
