Four little people go into the forest with their nets, hoping to catch a bird.  When the smallest person says that he has an idea, all the other guys tell him to be quiet.  After the oldest three keep failing to capture the birds, the youngest pulls out a bread crumb and attracts a lot of birds.  When they try to catch some of the birds a big bird scares them away.   

This board book is adorable with the dark illustrations and the big white eyes on the little guys.  The birds are super colorful against the dark blue background.  There is not much text and most of the story is told through pictures.
