ready for “Talk Like a Pirate Day” with these twists on Mother Goose rhymes.
They are very clever and only occasionally does the rhyme scheme falter
from the originals. This would actually be a fun challenge for an upper
level class to compare the originals to the pirate version and then try their
hand at re-writing a Mother Goose rhyme according to a different criteria -
science, math, biography, culture could all try their hand at it.
