A firefighter wakes up to the alarm that
there is a fire nearby. He and his crew
get their gear on and go to the building that is on fire. When they arrive they learn that a puppy is
trapped inside. The fireman goes in a
rescues the puppy. When the fire has
been contained, the crew takes the puppy home and he is the new firehouse
dog.
This is a cute story that will
capture any little reader's attention that is interested in firefighters. The pictures are pastel and simple. The story is only 1-2 sentences per page and
rhymes. This is a great addition to any young reader's collection.
