Morgan and Lewis get to meet Mr. Lee’s newest robot creation, too bad it smells awful. But it might just help them keep the media spotlight on their town and help to keep Lewis’s family motel in business so they don’t have to move. Things get complicated as they deal with dancing Betty, the school bully, school lunch, and maybe learn that not all of Mr.Lee’s friends are robots.
I can’t get enough of this author wit and humor, she always has me laughing. My favorite part is when the boys receive ladies rubber gloves to wear on an adventure, featuring painted on fingernails and jewelry. The first book in the series has been popular with 3rd graders who have loved Captain Underpants. This book is full of silly illustrations that add to the fun and lots of hilarious Acrostic poems.
