Tew, James E. Beekeeper’s Problem Solver, 209 pages.
Quarto, 2015. $20. Content: G.
Tew tries to create a reference book for a very beginning
beekeeper who hasn’t spent much time doing research on the web or doesn’t
attend local beekeeper meetings. The format is a problem and a solution
on one short page. But none of the solutions are really in-depth enough
for an experienced beekeeper and a part of the solution is frequnetly “contact
your local beekeeper’s group”. This book really doesn’t add anything new to
beekeeping books. In fact Beekeeping for Dummies is really an much more
essential handbook for any level of beekeeper.
