Pom loves his little stuffed toy named Pim. One day Pom and his dog are playing at the park and Pim is taken away by another dog. Together Pom and dog look everywhere for Pim.
I think this story, though very short and very simple, might be a tad confusing for youngsters. It has two main characters with similar names. Also the dog thief is a twin to the pet dog, but the reader only see’s what looks like the pet dog stealing Pim. Which creates confusion as the reader doesn’t understand why the pet dog would be so helpful when he is the one who hid Pim. My brain hurts just trying to keep Pim and Pom straight for this review! The illustrations are darling though!
