He can fix any item in his house and he loves to help his neighbors fix things at their houses too. He helps repair cars, fences, teacups, faucets and anything else he can get his hands on. Albert’s friends really appreciate his help and when they find out he is sick in bed, they all pitch in to bring him a meal and visit to help him feel better. This is a great book for teaching about helping others and repairing broken items instead of throwing them away. The illustrations remind me of frosted gingerbread cookies with a somewhat Scandinavian flare to them. The writing is solid and demonstrates Albert’s generosity and love for repairs well. Content: G.
