Hazel Nut just wants to dance, but not alone. Her family is too busy but that doesn’t get her down, and she continues to dance in her disco styling polka dot pants. Finally everyone gets involved when she brings Grandma Nut onboard.
This was an odd book. It’s a book that really needs the music that goes with it, which you can get, but would be confusing to a student who just checked the book out to take home. Its nice that Hazel doesn’t give up and keeps a good attitude. The artwork is bright and full of movement. I think the PE teacher might use this for a lesson!
