The lyrics of Pharrell William’s hit song “Happy” from Despicable Me 2 is now a book.  Each page spread has a line from the song with photographs of adorable kids who are acting out the lyrics.  The kids are holding different props and it has paper collage-type backgrounds.  There is nothing new about the story because most kids already know the song inside and out, but it’s a fun idea to have photographs or illustrations to visualize the song.   

This would be a great way to show students that lyrics are poetry and then have them do a similar project to help them visualize poetry.  Preschool kids will like it because there are pictures of other little kids, so it can be used by many different age groups.
