Roosevelt, with an emphasis on his childhood and his growing love of the preservation of animals and habitat. Its filled with cheerful and colorful illustrations.
This fantastic book is almost 50 pages but manages to make them
interesting and easy to read. Biographies are great, but when they cross into
learning about a President and saving the environment, it’s a perfect mix for a
school library. This book could be featured by a teacher for a variety of
lessons, as well as a read alone for a student. I would add this book quickly
to my collection! Now where to shelve it…..
