This book presents a large variety of animal mama’s taking care
of their babies. Elephants, Orcas, Cats, Ducks, and more. Each animal pairing
tells a bit about what is specifically taught by the Mama, like fishing.
This is adorable book that level 1 readers will be drawn to
because of the cover appeal. The story sometimes has a rhyming feel, but
sometimes doesn’t, which is a bit odd. But I still think it will be a hit, I
can’t keep the cat books (or in this case, books with cats on the cover) in the
library.
