They can’t find his owner, so they take him home and give him a check up. At first, Stuffy is annoyed by the new pet, but eventually he begins to get attached. When there’s a possibility that the new pet will be picked up by his original owner, Stuffy realizes how much he loves him. This book is based on an episode of the popular Doc McStuffins series and will likely be enjoyed by fans of that television show. It’s still a cute addition to a collection if it’s not popular with your readers, but not a must have. PRE-K, EL (K-3)- OPTIONAL. Reviewed by Shay, School Librarian
