How to Dress a Dragon Illustrated
by Eric Barclay Scholastic Press,
2016. $16.99 PICTURE BOOK
Content: G.
A little boy explains
how to catch a dragon and help it to get dressed. There are a lot of issues with dressing a
dragon, such as finding a shirt that can fit over his horns. The good news is dragons love underwear, match
that with a cape and the little boy and dragon are dressed and ready to
play.
This book has adorable
illustrations and the dragon’s clothing issues are cute. The story line is boring and doesn’t really
have a reason for a dragon needing clothes in the first place. The underwear made my son laugh, but the story
wasn’t enough to keep his interest.
