for a ride in the car is just the thing Brownie and her cat, Pearl, are going
to do. After picking up the mail and delivering it, Pearl just doesn’t want the
ride to end. Brownie saves the day by bringing snacks for herself and Pearl to
eat. This is a Ready-to-Read book at the lowest level. It’s difficult to have
an incredibly engaging story for books this simplistic (in my opinion), but the
pictures are cute and the easy text serves its purpose. PRE-K, K- OPTIONAL.
