Meet Chopper, an android who is
resourceful. When the rebels need fuel for their ship, Zeb goes to a gambler
named Lando to get it. If he wins the game, he gets fuel, but if Lando does
then Chopper goes to him. Will the rebels get the fuel they need?
The text is harder than one would
expect from a level 1 reader, but it’s easy to follow. The pictures are well
done and complement the text well. Young children who enjoy Star Wars will like
reading this book or having it read to them. PreK, EL (K-3). ADVISABLE.
