This is the basic, traditional song of Itsy Bitsy Spider.  The spider gets washed off the water spout during a rain storm and when the sun comes up he is able to crawl up the spout.  The illustrations are bright and the one line of text per page spread makes for a fast read.  It seems like this would do better as a board book.  I adore Ed Emberley’s how to draw books, but this was nothing new or overly special.
