When Alex the ant goes to the beach as a scout for the first
time, he sees that the beach has more excitement and dangers than he could’ve
ever imagined. Will he be up to the task?
The text is a little long for a picture book, but the
illustrations are well-done, detailed, and colorful. The text and the pictures
complement each other well and do a great job of telling the story despite its
length. A fun read aloud for a little bit older age or for those who are
