Gus is a gosling that likes to be by himself.  While he is out exploring, he sees a turtle bury her eggs in the sand.  Gus sits on the eggs and waits for them to hatch.  When the little turtles come out, Gus decides that he only likes to be by himself some of the time.   

Olivier Dunrea’s drawings are adorable and little Gus is curious and sweet.  The storyline is simple with minimal text that is clear and helps tell the story of how sometimes others can change us for the better.  This is a great addition to any library.
