Jody is obsessed with The Regulators, specifically with singer-songwriter
Jackson. Even though she has never seen him in person, they have a connection and,
when she gets a ticket to their concert, Jody goes to great lengths to make it
perfect. Unfortunately, nothing goes according to plan, so Jody decides to take
home the ultimate souvenir--the band's lead singer. This story ended up being
more about Jody's relationships with herself, her family, and her best friend
then about Jody and her hero Jackson.
It was not the story I was expecting, but
it turned out to be a great story of self-discovery. Who is your hero? Why? Are
you spending your time on things that matter? If it wasn't for all the
swearing, I would have loved it.
