The alphabet is reviewed through
the story of a mouse and a square cat who is gardening. They converse about
spinach, while the mouse hopes for a bite of some and tries to convince the cat
of its deliciousness. There are so many stand out alphabet books already, that
I just don’t think this one is either necessary or really up to par. The story
is dull and the pictures aren’t absorbing. I can’t say much else about it other
than that.
