This is a well researched book about the Russian Revolution and the fall of the Romanov Dynasty.  Complete with photographs (which are carefully arranged together without breaking up the story or delivering spoilers) bibliography, notes and an index, Fleming tells the whole story.  The royal family, their royal friends and faithful servants, the mad monk - Rasputin, their enemies (Lenin and others) and the problems caused by WWI as well as poor decisions by the Tsar.  A fantastic read!
