City dog Chip is visiting his cousins on their farm. While there, he learns a lot about farming -- including that it takes an awful lot of hard work! As with Wegman's Flo & Wendell, the illustrations are actually photographs of dogs in human poses, performing human actions, and wearing human clothes. Perhaps something is lost in the translation from hardcover picture book to paperback early reader, but the storyline has a random, wandering feel to it, and it makes no sense at all in several places. Also, many of the photographs are fuzzy and dull, rendering them unappealing.
