and this weekend he is going him with Richie to help him with his science
project. Richie has a dog at home that
is very excited to meet Humphrey and problems arise when the family leaves
Humphrey and Poppy the dog home alone.
This is a cute story told from the hamster’s perspective. It has 4
chapters and about 75-85 words per page and an illustration every 3 or 4 pages.
It’s perfect for a beginning chapter book. The author even has teacher lessons
on her website.
