Illustrations accompany a variety of verses from the King James version of the Bible, telling the story of the first Easter. Finishes with a call to go forth and baptize people around the world.
Due to its strong religious content, this one might be more appropriate for a church, private religious school, or public library. Many of the illustrations are dark, and one depicts a hanging. Because of this, and because of the difficulty some children may have with deciphering the text, parental involvement is recommended when reading this one.
