In this book we learn about the childhood of Champion, a superhero. Though when he was growing up his name was Michael Midas, just a normal kid facing bullying, school, and having a crush. As he grows into his powers, he doesn’t forget about this crush Dani. Can he win her heart and keep up with his superhero duties at the same time.
The artwork in this book is top notch, action packed, varied, and interesting. The plot is sort of generic and boring though, very typical superhero story, minus the tragic death of the parents. I think there are more interesting and entertaining graphic novels to spend your school book budget on.
