This book features poetry versions of some classic tales: The Odyssey, Jane Eyre, Hamlet, Don Quixote and more. They are short and condensed, funny, and interesting. The large pages show bright and funny illustrations.
I am not a fan of poetry and I really liked this book. Honestly, I think this book would work great for a middle school or high school teacher to read aloud from before a unit on a classic book. Or for younger readers would be a fun read-aloud with the new Babylit series (I hope you have seen those, they are so great!). Elementary students would still enjoy the book though they might not be familiar with the stories they are condensed from.
