Two Snakes are at the fair. One is too short to ride the Rattler Rollercoaster. They try many ways to deceive the pig standing guard over the height requirement. Eventually they figure one out.
This has a pre-k feel but some concepts, like the state fair, the height requirement might be better understood by K-1. The rollercoaster looks like a snake, not a rollercoaster, which might confuse young readers. I didn’t enjoy the plot nor the ending, its not really a great lesson to lie and do mean pranks to get what you want. I am not saying that books needs to be so wholesome, but in this case, its not quite right for my library.
