Bounders by Monica Tesler - ADVISABLE

Tesler, Monica Bounders, 366 pages.  Aladdin (Simon), 2016.  $17.  Content: G.

Jasper and a small group of others have been specifically chosen because of a difference in their brain.  Something about them makes them natural Bounders – people who can bend space and time, making space travel easier.  The group is headed up to EarthBound Academy for their final training.  There is fierce competition between the different groups.  Jasper’s group, however, seems to be full of misfits, causing tension.  What the kids don’t understand, however, is that there is a problem that is much bigger than their petty problems – the secret behind while Earth Force needed their special skills in the first place.

Yeah – another great science fiction book for kids!  I like Jasper and his friends and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
