The Wimbledons are having a hard time sleeping. Something noisy keeps waking them up, and every time it’s their dog Stanley! First he’s howling at the moon, but each time after that, he’s noisier and more unexpected. From making Catfish Stew (the illustration looks more complicated than that) to fixing the drain in the bathroom to eventually . . . well, not going to spoil the ending, but it’s certainly out of this world!
The story, told in verse is well timed to let the reader guess what Stanley is doing based on the rhymes. The illustrations are bold and interesting. Great fun.
