Told in a loose lyrical format this large picture book takes the reader through the beauty of animals living in harmony with the environment, humans living well with the land, then gradually shifts to humans taking advantage of the land in many ways, it then provides advice how to better take care of planet and then comes full circle with people making better choices for our environment.
This is a very beautifully crafted picture book that could be shared with any elementary aged student. Its honest without being too scary, and it has a healing message. The illustrations are large enough to share with a group and it’s a perfect fit for environmental lessons and earth day.
