Shadowshaper by Daniel Older - ADVISABLE

Older, Daniel Jose Shadowshaper, 297 pages, Arthur A. Levine Books, $17.99 Language: PG(8 swears,”f”:0); Mature Content: PG; Violence: PG.

Sierra is a teenager who has a crazy grandfather. When she goes up to say see you later, he continually tells her “I’m sorry”. From then on, Sierra’s life becomes a living nightmare. Strange creatures start attacking, paintings start to move, and she starts to see weird things. When Sierra meets a young boy and he introduces her to a whole new part of her life she never knew existed. Sierra must unravel her past to save the present and future of the shadowshapers.

I liked this book. It was one of those addicting books to read. It was a fast paced adventure full of excitement. Mature Content is PG because there is a little bit of romance and society problems. Violence is PG because there is a battle going on throughout the whole book.
