Fritz and his family get a Christmas tree and spend quite a bit of time and effort to decorate it. Then they open presents and then it’s time to take the tree away.
Do you know the word ‘Meh’? that pretty much sums up my state of mind after reading this book. It was a very simple story, mostly about the tree, but not in a heartwarming way, featuring plain artwork. Now there are simple stories that are outstanding and unforgettable, but this one just isn’t one of them.
