The book’s narrator, a little boy, tells all about how
in the future he is going to be a fire fighter. He will drive the fire engine,
help other fire fighters put out the fires, and even host his little brother
for a nap at the fire station! He imagines that when his little brother gets
bigger, he could be a fire engine man, too.
This is a sweet and fun board book
aimed at a toddler/Pre-K audience. The text is simple and the illustrations are
endearing. Many young children are intrigued by fire engines and this book
perfectly captures that. I think this board book is a real winner!
