She’s Princess Magnolia, a proper princess, until her
Monster Alarm goes off. When duty calls, she turns into the Princess in Black and
saves the kingdom. After a long week of many Monster Alarms, however, she needs
a vacation! When a new superhero, the Goat Avenger, says he’ll cover the monster
attacks for her, Magnolia can’t wait to get her day at the beach. When a Sea
Monster attacks at the beach, however, things don’t look so great for her day
off. Will Magnolia get a vacation?
The illustrations in this book are detailed, colorful, and engaging
and complement they text well. Princess Magnolia is an adorable character that’s
tough stuff and shows readers you can be a princess and a superhero. The plot
is well written for an early chapter book and pulls the reader into Princess
Magnolia’s world. Although this is book #4, readers can read them in any order.
This is definitely one series a princess or superhero fan will not want to miss.
