Is a book just a book?
Brynne Barnes would beg to differ.
While the illustrations take center stage – they are magical
flights of fancy that beg to be framed to hang for constant enjoyment – don’t
sell the text short. They are meant to
be read out loud with inflection and spirit – then they come alive and shine as
much as the pictures. Grab this one for
a faithful read aloud, whether group story time or as a cuddle before bed. I can’t wait to gift this to new mothers and
grandchildren.
