Flat Stanley is very helpful in his town where he can use his flatness to be of service. When Flat Stanley hears the local baker might go out of business unless he can come up with an amazing new idea, Flat Stanley wants to help. By accident Flat Stanley gives the Baker a big idea, and together they create something that will help to keep the bakery open.
This is a cute story with bright illustrations. There isn’t really much to the story other than Flat Stanley trying to be helpful. The bottom line is that this series doesn’t receive checkouts in my library, the students just aren’t interested. Could be different in your library.
