This is an excellent biography of Amelia Earhart that should be read by every child and adult.  Not only are the illustrations amazing, the information is fascinating and keeps the reader interested at every turn of the page.  This story gives detailed information about Amelia Earhart’s journeys in a language and at a level that little ones can understand.  In addition to being a biography, it’s also encouraging and positive. Phrases like, “Here’s my secret: I wasn’t a natural.  I wasn’t the best pilot.  I just worked harder than anyone else”, and “I hope you’ll remember that the greatest flight you’ll ever take, is the one no one has tried before” will empower children to follow their own dreams.  We loved this book and highly recommend it to all.  ESSENTIAL.
