Tana thought that the worst thing at the party would
be seeing her ex. She was wrong. The worst thing is waking up to find everybody
dead and vampires still in the house. Doing the best she knows how, Tana’s goal
is to save everyone she can. But can she save herself? At surface level, Holly
Black has just written another story about vampires. I was happy to find,
though, that the main plot was not about romance, but about humanity and mercy.
While I wasn’t very interested in picking up this book at first, it wasn’t long
before I was sucked into the future Tana lives in. the characters Black creates
will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you question your sanity, but
you’ll love every word of it.
HS – ADVISABLE. Reviewer: Carolina Herdegen
