Terra and the other voyagers on the Ashrerah have finally reached their destination planet, Zehava.  But just like Terra already knew, the planet is already occupied - by two species that that hate each other and hate the colonists more, but also by Aleksandra Wollf, the rebel leader from the Asherah.  But Terra really is more concerned with finding and being with Vadix, the boy who has haunted her dreams for the last months and whatever he may actually be, Terra will do whatever she has to ignored to be with him. 

If you have students who really still love The Host, where the love interests are two distinctly different species, then they will probably like this series.
