Sadie is worried about the
hike that her class is going be taking. It is supposed to be like the hike that
Moses too up to Mt. Sinai. Her imagined excuses don’t come true when the day of
the hike arrives and she learns a lesson.
This is a book for young children
who already know something about the Jewish religion, as any other child would be totally
confused since the references/backstory/terminology are not explained. (Which
also means it’s a wash for school libraries). The artwork is also quite dated
looking.
