This book is about a boy who is the new kid in the class. He gets to take care of the class pet for the day. His arch-enemy, who happens to be a girl, wanted the turn instead. Eugene takes the pet home and decides that this class pet should be his side-kick. When Eugene gets back to school his arch –enemy tries to steal his pet! What will happen?
I liked this book because of the great illustrations. I liked how he wanted this pet to be his forever friend. I enjoyed reading this book!
