After accidentally destroying some of his neighbor's plants, Adam finds himself doing chores for her in order to keep his parents happy about his attempt to stay out of trouble and make up for his accident. Adam and his friend, Sam want to make it to New York to see a plant that only blooms every 7 years, but the only way their parents will let them go is if they stay out of trouble. Helping Mrs. Wilkins might put a damper on those dream if Adam can’t prove to her and his parents that he can behave. Will he succeed?

Predictable, but funny. Similar to an Amelia Bedelia story, readers who like humorous, quirky books will enjoy reading this book.
