This book is about a girl who gets two hamsters and their names are “Hamster #1” and “Hamster #2.” Hamster #1 has babies. The babies die overnight and Hamster #1 gets his leg bit off. Hamster #2 mysteriously disappears? Will they find out who is causing all this havoc? I liked this book because it had some funny parts. I liked the cartoon illustrations. I liked the detail in the wording. It wouldn’t be good for younger elementary students because of the violence. EL. ESSENTIAL. Student Reviewed: JL- age 9.
