Seventeen year old Jamie spent her entire junior year in a funk, so for the summer  her mother sends her off to the New England island of Little Bly to be an au pair for the summer. Upon arriving, her charge, Isa, informs her that she looks shockingly like her old babysitter, Jessie, who had died in a plane crash with her boyfriend the summer before. The more Jamie learns about the couple’s untimely death, the deeper she gets into the secrets of Little Bly, and the deeper she gets into herself. I LOVED this book. It’s full of mystery and intrigue surrounding Jessie and Peter’s death, and the ending takes you completely by surprise. Great read! Middle School, High School- ESSENTIAL. Student Reviewed:  AL.
