Sisters Ally and Brooke Tanner are back, along with their student-run nail salon. This time they're up against bully Suzy Davis, who is opening her own makeup business in honor of school picture day.
This is a decent addition to the series, although it lacks the conflict and urgency of some of the earlier books. Several of the crises are very conveniently solved without much work from the books' otherwise-proactive protagonists. Still, fans of the series may enjoy it, even if they don't devour this one quite as quickly as the earlier books.
