(interesting facts) about them. Apple’s
IF’s are: she has slanted eyes, she has
a weird Filipino nickname, and she has a weird mother. She loves the Beatles and wants to learn to
play the guitar. Apple becomes friends
with two other kids at school who are also bullied.
This is the story of the unlikely friendship
and teaches children that they can find friendship in an unexpected place. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It does have mature content.
