Nathan knows that he loves Annaliese and he knows that Gabriel is his
best friend, but beyond that he doesn’t trust very many people. Annaliese needs Nathan to rescue her from a
black witch, so Nathan and Gabriel join with some other witches who will trade
their help in rescuing Annaliese for Nathan’s involvement in a rebellion
against the uprising of a wicked white witch.
Nathan has to figure out who he is and what his powers mean, and that
isn’t easy when your dad is the most feared black witch and everybody expects
something great from Nathan.
The Half
Bad series is compelling so far. I can’t
help but love Nathan and I enjoy the writing style and voice of his
character. The violence is over the top
gruesome and cringe worthy. The mature
content is a homosexual kiss and the main character is confused about his
sexual preferences. Although this is a
second book the action didn’t slow down and it had a cliff hanger ending.
