Mayer, Mercer Just
Grandma, Grandpa, and Me Random House,
1985. $5.99 PICTURE BOOK
Content: G.
This is two separate books
that have been bond as one. The first
book is Just Grandma and Me. Little
Critter goes to the beach with his grandma.
He explores the fish under the water, builds a castle and burries his
grandma in the sand. He has a great time
with just him and his grandma. The
second book is Just Grandpa and Me.
Little Critter needs a new suit so he goes into the city with his
grandpa. They go shopping together and
eat lunch, then they return home on the train.
Little Critter loves being with his grandpa.
Both of these books are adorable. Little Critter is hilarious and my son enjoys playing I Spy with Little Critter’s pets who are hiding on each
page. This binding is weird because there
are two completely separate books. But
Little Critter books are a big hit with younger readers.
PRE-K - ESSENTIAL, EL (K-3) – ADVISABLE. Reviewer, C. Peterson.
