Holiday House, Inc., 2015. $14.95.  PICTURE BOOK.  Rose is having a party.  She wants to invite her three friends.  She asks Pete if he will help her pass out the invitations.  Pete passes one invitation to Nell, one to Don, and on his way to Gert's house, he sees a baseball game in progress and puts the invitation in his pocket and plays ball with his friends.  The day of the party, Rose, Nell, Don and Pete are at Rose's house and ready for the party to begin but are waiting for Gert to arrive.  Once Pete realizes the invitation is still in his pocket, they hurry off to find Gert.  Will they find him in time? Will he understand the mistake and forgive them? This is a book about friendship, mistakes and forgiveness.  The story was simple but a little boring.
